Default	judgement	
The Court must satisfy itself that it has jurisdiction over the case, the case is admissible and
the defaulting party has been duly served with the application and all pertinent documents
relating to the case before passing a default judgement (African Commission on Human and
Peoples’ Rights v Libya, Merits, Application 002/2013, 3 June 2016, para 40).
