REPARATIONS Procedure Where a party has reserved the right to expatiate on his or her claim for compensation and reparation, the Court may not make a pronouncement on them (Tanganyika Law Society, The Legal and Human Rights Centre v The United Republic of Tanzania, application 009/2011; Reverend Christopher R. Mtikila v The United Republic of Tanzania, application 011/2011, judgment, 14 June 2013, para 124). Where the Court grants a party extension of time to file submission on reparation, it is no miscarriage of justice if the other party had an opportunity to state its position on the matter but fails to do so (Reverend Christopher R. Mtikila v The United Republic of Tanzania, application 011/2011, ruling on reparations, 13 June 2014, para 26).
